Dear Students, If you will be finishing up your degree requirements in the spring or summer 2018 semester, please apply to graduate now on Patriot Web. Information may be found on http://registrar.gmu.edu/students/graduation/timelines/ If you have applied for graduation in a previous semester, you'll need to withdraw that application in order to re-apply for spring: https://registrar.gmu.edu/topics/withdraw-graduation-application/ Deadline to apply for spring 2018 graduation is February 22. Please Note: It is best to go ahead and file for graduation if there is a chance you may finish up in the spring or summer term. You can always withdraw it at a later date if you will not finish in time. Thesis and Dissertation students will follow the "Guidelines with Dates" found on http://ssb.gmu.edu/students/index.cfm The last date to hold a public defense for spring graduation will be April 27. Biology Project students will complete the required oral and written comprehensive exams before the degree conferral date found on https://registrar.gmu.edu/calendars/, and turn in the project report to their committee. Students will also present a poster or Power Point at Student Research Day in April, date TBD.
