All, the new postdoc policy is now official. Perhaps the most important change for us is that open searches are no longer required to hire a postdoc.

Hello Research Council – Please see below from Elizabeth Woodley regarding the Postdoc policy.  Although the formal approval process has taken longer than expected, this update is consistent with what we discussed several months ago.  Also, the procedural changes have been in place for some time already (most notably the elimination of the search requirement for Postdoc hires).  If you have any questions please let me know.
