Dear Ph.D. Students,
The DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Museum is offering a PAID Fall Internship for Graduate Students ($12.50/hour for up to 21 hours/week for 12 weeks) This exciting opportunity focuses on Museum Education. During the internship:
"The intern will work with the Curator of Education to research and develop an online resource for teachers and students based on a North Carolina sampler in the museumís collection. This is a large project that the intern would be able to add to her/his portfolio as it would be primarily produced by the intern.
The intern will also assist with the museumís in-house education programs by producing visitor assistance materials (including maps, guides, flyers, signs, and related materials); posting museum event information to online calendars; writing social media posts; and assisting with the planning and execution of school programs, Girl Scouts, family programs, and tours."
