The National Humanities Alliance (NHA) has posted an ad to hire a Post-Doctoral Fellow

We are pleased to announce a search for a Post-Doctoral Fellow to implement a project entitled “The Publicly Engaged Humanities: A Survey of the Field.” The project will document the full range of publicly engaged humanities work that college and university faculty and students have carried out over the past decade. Working with National Humanities Alliance staff, the Post-Doctoral Fellow will: collect examples of publicly-engaged humanities work; formulate synthetic claims about the state of the field; carry out a comprehensive communications strategy aimed at practitioners and public audiences; and collaborate with a developer to create a visually rich website that features representative project profiles. The project is supported by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
