Subject: Pre-register for the 2017 McCourt School Policy Conference's Keynote Speakers Event

Hello All,

Georgetown University will be hosting the 24th Annual McCourt School Policy Conference from February 23rd - February 24th, 2017. Before registration becomes open to the public, the 2017 McCourt School Policy Conference would like to offer pre-registration seats for the students at George Mason's Department of History to attend the Keynote Speakers Event of "Reflections on Populism and Policy" which will take place on Feb 24th from 3:45pm - 5:00pm in the International Cultural Center's Auditorium at Georgetown University.

This particular speakers' event focuses on looking at how President Trump has utilized American populism to shape policy from a historic vantage point. Specifically, keynote speakers Dr. Bryan McCann - Chair of the Georgetown University Department of History - and Mr. John B. Judis - Editor at Large for Talking Points Memo - will focus on cross analyzing events that happen in Latin America's 20th Century experience with populism and policy with the expression of current American populism and how it will shape US policy today.

Furthermore, this Keynote Speakers event and the conference in its entirety is free of charge to attend. If interested in attending the Keynote Speakers event, please send an email of interest to Ms. Carrie Grabo at [log in to unmask] with your name, email, and student status (PhD Candidate, MS Student, Undergraduate Student, etc.) by February 1st.

You can find more information about the conference at this link --> http://www.mccourt-conference.org/. And, for your convenience, I have attached a digital program detailing the events, times, and speakers for each segment of the conference.

Thank you.

Kind Regards,

Christopher Yang
