I'm with the Volunteer Staff of the 2016 Smithsonian Folklife Festival and we are looking for volunteers for this year's festival. Would you mind passing along the following information to students or other interested parties? If there are any individuals or other organizations you recommend we contact I would be very glad to be put in touch with them. If you are able to distribute the attached flyer as well it would be highly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your help!

Basque: Innovation by Culture showcases the creative and innovative spirit of the Basque people, who draw on tradition and culture to face contemporary challenges. The program will feature artists, musicians, dancers, cooks, artisans, language specialists, designers, and engineers from the Basque country and its diaspora in the United States.
Sounds of California will present a series of evening concerts as well as daytime performances and activities, offering a glimpse into how musical culture mirrors the movements reshaping the state and the nation today. We will feature artists who contribute to the soundscapes of California, demonstrating the social power of music and cultural heritage.
