I would like to invite you to join my Strategic Political Communication study abroad program in Vienna,
Austria this summer! This will be the third year of this wonderful program.
Earn 6 credits and experience one of the most beautiful cities in the world! During the duration of the program, you will engage in lectures from Austrian experts.
This course will examine how the media affects international relations and will focus on several broad topics - political communication / advertising and policy advocacy in Europe. In addition, the course will also focus on issues in public diplomacy and
the political dimension of international communication.
Students will be expected to contribute their own understanding and critique to individual and group learning experiences by
- reading required materials,
- analyzing and resolving case studies,
- visiting PR agencies and cultural events,
- and communicating with their international peers.
Weekends are free
In the past, students have visited other countries, such as France, Belgium and Switzerland as well as many other smaller towns in and around Germany.
