Please join University Libraries Data Services for March events on Data Management best practices and a workshop by the Center for Open Science on increasing
openness and reproducibility in quantitative research.
Event details and registration are below:
March 9, 9:00am - 4:15pm, Virginia Data Management Bootcamp Day One, full-day event
Day one topics will include: Data Organization, Data Documentation, Rights and Access, Copyright, Finding and Reusing Data, and Sharing Data.
These are all basic, foundational concepts for working with research data.
March 10, Virginia Data Management Bootcamp Day Two, Select-a-Workshop. Workshops begin at 9:00am
Workshops: Cleaning data with open refine, R from scratch (for beginners), Creating data management plans with the DMPTool
March 18, Noon-3:00pm, Center for Open Science workshop on increasing opennes and reproducibility in quantitative
research.
All events will take place on the Fairfax campus. Registration is required.
