Subject: 2/3 WFPG Mentoring Fair

Dear Colleague,

The Women’s Foreign Policy Group would like to extend an invitation to your students to attend our Annual DC Mentoring Fair on February 3rd, from 6-9 p.m.  We hope that you will circulate the information below to any students you are advising who are interested in a career in international affairs.  This year the event will be held at George Washington University, but it is open to all students (undergraduate and graduate) and recent graduates.

Our mentoring fair is a unique and exciting opportunity for students to meet with mid- to senior-level international affairs professionals and learn from their career experiences in an informal setting. Unlike a career fair, the focus is on entering and succeeding in international career fields, not just opportunities at particular companies.  Sectors include international development, NGOs, human rights, international law, international health, international business, diplomatic service, the UN, journalism and communications.

We hope that you will circulate the attached flier or use the following paragraph in your materials:

2016 Women’s Foreign Policy Group MENTORING FAIR registration is now open. The program provides an opportunity to speak informally with senior-level international affairs experts about the skills required to break into the global job market and hear valuable advice and guidance regarding career planning and internships.  The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as young professionals.  Sectors include international development, NGOs, human rights, international law, international health, international business, diplomatic service, the UN, and communications.  This year the event will be cosponsored by and held at George Washington University.  Space is limited and advance registration is REQUIRED.  Visit www.wfpg.org/mentees for additional information and registration. (Wednesday, February 3rd, 6-9 p.m., George Washington University)

Please note that students are required to register for this event.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at 202 429 2692 or email us at [log in to unmask].

Best Regards,
Emily Beaudoin
