Casey Endowed Scholarship: Simohamed
Ghiwane, EIT, a candidate for the MS in Construction Project
Management in
CEIE, has been named the first Michael J. Casey Endowed
Scholar. The Michael J.
Casey Endowed Scholarship was established to honor the life
and work of the
late Michael J. Casey, PhD, and former CEIE professor.

George Mason University is
offering a seminar
series on the Responsible Conduct of Research (details below)
starting on
February 3, 2016.Completion
of this series
is a requirement of certain NIH career, education, and training

It is highly encouraged
that all trainees
(undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral
scholars) working
on other types of awards also complete this training.The seminars will be
presented by experienced
faculty and cover a wide range of topics related to conducting
ethical and
professional research.In

Course Development Institute (OCDI)

Technology Services (ITS) Learning Support Services Instructional
Design team
is seeking proposals for participation in the Online Course
Development
Institute (OCDI) from 02/03/16 – 03/22/16. The OCDI is an online,
instructional
designer-facilitated course development program. Full-time
tenured,
tenure-track, adjunct, term faculty members, and graduate teaching
assistants
who are interested in learning how to design and develop online
courses are all
