Are your friends getting tired of hearing your stories from abroad? Does it feel like they don’t understand all the ways you’ve changed and grown over the past year? Are you looking for
ways to stay connected to an experience that had a tremendous impact on your life?
If you said yes to any of the above, this course is for you!
The course offers study abroad alums the opportunity to reflect on their experiences and build on their skills learned to further their academic, professional, and personal development.
Through discussion, project-based learning, and professional development workshops, students will break down the cultural impact experienced abroad, and uncover the skills developed that will enhance resumes and open professional opportunities. Plus, you’ll
get to talk with students who are going through the same re-entry transition that you are!
This course is intended for students who have studied abroad for three months or longer in the past calendar year. The class will meet once a week on Wednesday afternoons for part of the
semester. You can enroll in this UNIV 300 course on PatriotWeb by searching for CRN
82826 (or clicking the link!).
