Below is an announcement about a National Security Agency summer program  information session to be held here at Mason next week.  This is a paid internship open only to citizens, and students who are selected will also get a security clearance. So it is a good opportunity.

The National Security Agency (NSA) will be hosting an information session about the Summer Program for Operations Research Technology (SPORT).  This 12-week paid internship at the NSA is an exciting opportunity open to U.S. Citizen Graduate students.

Presentation will last approximately 45 minutes with time for questions.

Highlights of the 2016 SPORT Program:

-Paid internship (12 weeks, May-August 2016) 

-Applications accepted September 1 - October 31, 2015 (subject to change)

 -Opportunity to apply operations research, mathematics, statistics, computer science, and/or engineering skills

 -Real NSA mission problems 

-Paid annual and sick leave, housing available, most travel costs covered

Please note that the presentation is open to everyone, but the SPORT internship is only for U.S. Citizen Graduate students who are graduating December 2016 or later.
