Dear College Representative,
This email is to let you know that the Virginia Department of Transportation
(VDOT) Internship Program is now accepting applications through
November 30, 2015.
Please forward the information below to those students who may benefit from the program.
The Internship Program offers students:
·
Paid developmental work experience
located throughout the state in multiple VDOT divisions and districts
each summer and opportunities to work during school. Also, this program will expand the student’s knowledge of public service and transportation.
Student requirements to apply:
·
Be a US citizen or permanent US resident.
·
Be at least 18 years of age.
·
As of May 2016, be a rising sophomore (second), junior (third) or senior (fourth) year of undergraduate study in a 2-year or 4-year accredited college/university.
·
Graduate students enrolled in a degreed program in an accredited college/university.
·
Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale or 3.0 or above on a 6.0 scale.
·
Complete a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester for undergraduate students and 9 credit hours per semester for graduate students.
