Ask me about Study Abroad!

Front of new staff t-shirts

New Staff T-shirts Have Arrived

Friday before Labor Day came with a very special surprise. Just in time for our very first Abroad Squad workshop, the new lime-green t-shirts arrived in our office. These t-shirts feature a blue "Ask me about Study Abroad" logo on the front and a Mason M logo on the back. You may see them in action during a variety of events this semester. If you see one ask about Study Abroad!

Fall 2015 Marketing Interns
The Center for Global Education is proud to announce that four Mason study abroad alumnae have started their marketing internship this fall semester. Both Alyxe Perry (Anthropology) and Brooke Finnicum (Communication) attended Mason Korea this past spring. Katie Lynch (Global Affairs) has recently returned from CGE's Arabic Language in Amman, Jordan program, while Valerie Rovira (Communication) is a two-time study abroad alumna who participated in the Milan summer program and spent a spring semester studying in Florence.

Inception of Abroad Squad
The Abroad Squad is comprised of study abroad alumni and international students who are passionate about their global experience, and are eager to share their knowledge and experience with other students. Don't hesitate to approach them directly and ask them about all things study abroad when you see them on campus this semester. We will publish a webpage of this semester's Abroad Squad members some time this month.
