The Council on Foreign Relations’ (CFR) Fellowship Program offers unique opportunities for mid-career scholars and practitioners who have a demonstrated commitment to a career in foreign policy. Fellows are recruited year-round and come from a wide variety of fields, such as academia, business, government, media, NGOs, and think tanks. The duration of each fellowship is generally twelve months, and the program offers a competitive stipend.
