Seeking Volunteers

For Class Discussions on Going Abroad

We are looking to raise awareness among our first- and second-year students about the possibilities for experiences abroad during their time at Mason, and in that effort, we're looking for Mason students who are interested in talking and answering questions about their time abroad directly to small groups of students during class visits facilitated by our staff members.

Mason's returned study abroad, intern abroad, and volunteer abroad students are encouraged to volunteer. If interested in volunteering this semester or next academic year, please fill out the form linked here:

The format of these class visits would generally be a series of small-group discussions where you would be sitting in a circle of desks talking and answering questions about your experiences abroad to a group of about 5 students at a time. You would not need to give a formal presentation or prepare any materials ahead of time.
