products or services. In a world where people are constantly bombarded
with new ideas, inventions, and a myriad of new products and services,

to buy into you and from you. Mr. Fissel will provide an overview of the
most effective strategies and practices to successfully market your
business and achieve long-term success.

Jeff Fissel co-founded KZO Innovations, Inc. in 2007 and serves as its
Vice President of Solutions.Mr. Fissel plays a key role in select
strategic accounts and corporate development activities at KZO
Innovations.He helped the team take their video content management
software to market and build the customer base to include companies like
PNC bank, Audi/VW, Michelin, and Comcast.He is an expert with
interactive streaming media technologies and was a member of the
development team for the KZO technology.KZO Innovations successfully
raised venture capital and was sold to a 1.4 Billion dollar private
equity fund in 2013.Prior to KZO Innovations, he founded KZO Webcasting
and over five years produced hundreds of global webcasts ranging from
events in the White House to film festivals in Hollywood.Mr. Fissel has
a B.S. in Information Technology with a concentration in Information
Security and Network Administration from George Mason University.

/Title:/Molecular Imaging and Nanotechnology in Cancer Biology and
Therapeutics
/Biography:/
Dr. Zweit is a professor of Radiology, and affiliate professor of
Radiation Oncology, Molecular Pathology, Biochemistry & Molecular
Biology and Chemistry at VCU. He is the Director of the Center for
Molecular Imaging and a senior member of the Massey Cancer Center at
Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. He leads an
inter-disciplinary and inter-collaborative molecular imaging research
program that emphasizes multi-modality approaches to study biochemical
and biological pathways in vivo. Professor Zweit’s research interests
include the development of paradigms for molecular imaging, targeted
therapeutics and nanotechnology strategies for preclinical and clinical
translational research. His current research interests include
radiopharmaceutical developments, Multi-modal probes, nanotechnology
platforms, Tumor microenvironment, hybrid molecular imaging, and
theranostic anti-cancer agents.
He is internationally recognized for his work in molecular imaging of
cancer drug development, and conducted the “world’s first” Molecular PET
Imaging clinical trial of Anti-angiogenic therapy in cancer patients
(Journal National Cancer Institute 2002).
He serves on the review body of a number of funding organizations, both
in Europe and North America. He has supervised more than 25 MSc, MD and
PhD theses. He has published more than 100 peer reviewed articles, over
250 conference abstracts, and several review articles and book chapters,
as well as a few patents.

Molecular Imaging is concerned with the study of underlying biological
pathways associated with disease processes and the working of therapies
within the intact in vivo environment.Molecular nanotechnology deals
with the applications of nano-materials in cell biology, drug delivery,
targeted therapy and diagnostics. Combining molecular imaging with
nanotechnology offers a powerful platform to specifically image and
study multifunctional pathways associated with cancer biology and
therapeutics. The Center for Molecular Imaging (CMI) at VCU, is a
state-of-the-art multi-modality research facility, with expertise in
molecular imaging Science (PET/SPECT/CT; MRI/MRS, Optical and
Photoaccoustic imaging). The imaging technologies are underpinned by
developments of targeted agents, including multi-modal hybrid
nano-probes. Within the context of cancer biology and therapy, the
combination of molecular imaging and nanotechnology offers real time
investigations of tumor progression, the role of tumor
micro-environment, and the interrogation of therapeutic interventions,
all within the intact tumor and normal tissue environments. This
presentation will highlight CMI research in these areas; which include
i) image-guided chemotherapy, ii) radio-nanoparticle imaging and
therapy; iii) dual-modal PET/MR imaging; iv) tumor associated
microenvironment and v) image-guided normal tissue radioprotection.
These research platforms highlight the use of combined technologies to
enhance research in cancer biology and therapy within intact live subjects.

Designed to train the next generation of supercomputer users, the
Argonne Training Program on Extreme-Scale Computing (ATPESC) is
scheduled for its third year in the Chicago area from August 2-14, 2015.

*Funding Opportunity: Cyber Security Research & Innovation Contest
(State Department)*
The U.S. Consulate General Chennai proposes to fund a Cybersecurity
Research and Innovation Contest for young programmers and students of
Information Technology (Age limit: 20-35 years only). The preliminary
round of the contest will be conducted in six cities across Tamil Nadu,
Karnataka and Kerala, culminating in a grand finale in Chennai. While
building general awareness about opportunities and challenges in the
field of cybersecurity, this program will build interest in research and
innovation in this field among young talents in India. Though thousands
of students graduate with degrees in Information Technology across South
India, only a small minority specialize in cybersecurity. The proposed
program will help popularize research and training in Indian
institutions and complement U.S.-India bilateral cooperation on
cybersecurity.

The BIGDATA program seeks novel approaches in computer science,
statistics, computational science, and mathematics, along with
innovative applications in domain science, including social and
behavioral sciences, geosciences, education, biology, the physical
sciences, and engineering, that lead towards the further development of
the interdisciplinary field of data science.The solicitation invites two
types of proposals: "Foundations" (F): those developing or studying
fundamental theories, techniques, methodologies, technologies of broad
applicability to Big Data problems; and "Innovative Applications" (IA):
those developing techniques, methodologies and technologies of key
importance to a Big Data problem directly impacting at least one

In addition to approaches such as search, query processing, and
analysis, visualization techniques will also become critical across many
stages of big data use--to obtain an initial assessment of data as well
as through subsequent stages of scientific discovery. Research on
visualization techniques and models will be necessary for serving not

users of the data, including "cross-over" scientists who may be working
