Greetings, Graduate Student!

University Dissertation & Thesis Services (UDTS) welcomes you to the Spring 2015 semester. We're here to help, and we look forward to working with you.

Even if you're not planning to graduate in this semester, it's always a good idea to familiarize yourself with our office and our services. It's always a good idea to start with our website:

http://thesis.gmu.edu/index.html

There, you'll learn more about what UDTS does, and how we can best help you. You can also find information about the process Master's and Doctoral students must complete in order to graduate; guides and templates to make formatting your document easier; and important dates and deadlines. For now, please keep these deadlines in mind:

Format Review Deadline: 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26

All theses and dissertations must be submitted to UDTS for a Format Review by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015. In order for you to graduate in the Spring 2015 semester, we must receive your document for review by 5:00 p.m. on April 24. If we do not receive your document for review by that date, we will not be able to review it in time for you to fulfill all other requirements in order to graduate in Spring 2015.

Any document received after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015 for a Format Review will not be reviewed until Tuesday, May 5th at the very earliest.

Spring 2015 Final Submission Deadline: 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

In order to graduate in Spring 2015, you must turn in the final copy of your thesis/dissertation, as well as all necessary paperwork, to our office on or by that day.

We'll be offering workshops throughout the semester as well; these workshops will walk you through the process and introduce you to the Interactive Template and Zotero. As soon as the dates are confirmed, we'll send out emails and post them on our website.
