VSE Faculty,

There are two important NSF submission deadlines on January 14, 2015:
Computer and Network Systems (CNS): Core Programs
Computing and Communication Foundations (CCF): Core Programs
In past years, many VSE faculty have submitted to these programs, and that has caused strain on the Office of Sponsored Programs.

If you plan to submit to these programs (or any other funding programs with nearby deadlines) please submit the online form (https://ospproposal.gmu.edu/Default.aspx) as soon as possible, since that will help OSP allocate resources.

If numbers are consistent with last year’s (>50) submissions, compliance with the established internal deadline will be critical.   PIs must provide OSP with all final documents at least four business days prior to the sponsor’s deadline.

Also, you may wish to talk to OSP about whether you can assist them by uploading your own proposals to NSF.

Hi Dr. Nash and Terri,

I wanted to touch base with you regarding the upcoming deadline for two NSF programs historically popular with the VSE Faculty.  A deadline of January 14, 2015 is posted for the Computer and Network Systems (CNS): Core Programs and the Computing and Communication Foundations (CCF): Core Programs.

We’ve started to receive requests from the VSE Faculty for both of these opportunities and anticipate we will receive more.  If you could request the faculty submit the online form (https://ospproposal.gmu.edu/Default.aspx) as soon as possible, that will help us allocate resources.  If our numbers are consistent with last year’s (>50) submissions, compliance with the established internal deadline will be critical.

I will send you updates as the information is available.

Thanks so much for your help with this.

Regards,

Carol-Ann
