Description / Responsibilities:
The Telecommunications Engineer / Modeler develops models and analysis relating to wireless technologies. Serves as a technical expert on project team relating to the LTE wireless technology. Builds simulation models using custom tools, and modifies custom simulation code. Develops model scenarios and structures model input parameters. Hypothesizes and models alternative allocation algorithms to determine effectiveness / tradeoffs of alternative approaches. Work with project team throughout to review assumptions, and document and present results to project team and the government.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
· Specific knowledge and experience with wireless communications protocols; LTE preferred.
· Proficient with simulation modeling and coding analysis tools
· Coursework / background in Statistics
