Mason undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and staff are invited to learn about opportunities for internships and fellowships at the Smithsonian Museums. Karen Carter, from
the Smithsonian Office of Fellowships and Internships, will present two workshops on
Friday, October 17. The workshops are free and refreshments will be served. Registration is required by October 15.

Why just survive graduate school when you can thrive in graduate school?
Graduate students may apply now to join the spring 2015 PROV 601 course and cohort to learn how to strategically plan their graduate school experiences at Mason. The one-credit seminar
will explore the opportunities and challenges of graduate school, discussing key tactics to improve the visibility and impact of scholarly and professional activities.
Master’s or doctoral students in their first or second year of study are welcome. The application deadline is Thursday, October 23.
