Mason has separate working moms and dads groups that get together once or twice a year to swap ideas, suggestions, stories, and so on.  Please join us to learn about university parent groups that provide a shared interest in work life fit initiatives, trends in the parenting world, and campus resources for working parents. National Employee Wellness Month Wrapping Up But the Well-Being Continues
The end of June will be here before we know it and NEWM will be wrapping up.  But Mason's focus on well-being doesn't end on June 30, no sir-ree!  Stay tuned, there are some exciting opportunities coming along.  In the meantime, we wanted to highlight a few events coming up!


1.      Today!  Commute Options for Employees - Bring your lunch and join Parking and Transportation on Tuesday, June 24 at 1:00 pm, Merten Hall (formerly University Hall), Room 3300 to learn about alternative transportation options and benefits at Mason. 2.       Life Planning Seminar: Recipe for a Healthier Heart with CommonHealth, Thursday, June 26 at noon. 2.      Mason Recreation is offering free health screenings on Tuesday, July 1 from 3:00-7:00pm in the Aquatic and Fitness center.  Mason Recreation fitness staff will provide an opportunity for blood pressure, postural assessments, squat assessments, and body composition assessments. You also can enjoy a little Q & A with a personal trainer.  Please note: This screening opportunity is not affiliated with myActiveHealth for COVA Care and COVA Health Aware.


4.    Global Fit is offering a 50% discount on a health club activation in the month of July.
