Do you have a great idea you would like to transform into a successful IT venture? In order to make this dream come true, you will need to make the right decisions at the right time and be able to assess the outcome and impact of your decisions. Ms. Aiello will provide an overview of the key steps needed to evaluate your business idea and determine its feasibility and profitability. She will also provide an overview of the methodologies and tools you can use to assess the outcome of your decisions, as well as strategies to inspire, influence and organize the workforce to accomplish key business goals.



Vittoria Aiello has provided consulting services to several government agencies and organizations — both public and private, for-profit and non-profit — on how to assess the organization’s growth and development areas and how to identify strategies and channels to maximize profits and ensure steady funding sources. Ms. Aiello holds a Master in Business Administration from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, College Park. Starting in Fall 2014, she will be serving as an Adjunct Professor for the new entrepreneurship programs offered by the Department of Applied IT at Mason. In Fall 2014, she will teach IT 496, “Decision making in IT ventures”. The goal of this course is to provide aspiring student entrepreneurs with all the knowledge and tools they need to successfully lead IT ventures.
