It is very likely that you have had a visit from the Center for Global Education these
last few weeks to present the French summer programming. We hope that you will consider expanding your current classroom studies of French and venture out and abroad! Just to recap, the amazing summer programs for French language credits are:
Join Professor Erin Mateu in Paris for
this four-week, 6 credit program in
beautiful Paris. Participants will stay in an authentic and charming French dorm on the Boulevard Saint Michel in the Latin Quarter and attend classes at the Alliance Française (just across the Jardin de Luxembourg from the dorm). Visit
Paris freely on your métro pass and celebrate Bastille Day under the Eiffel Tower!
This program is open to beginner (no previous French language study required) to advanced undergraduate students, so bring your friends and get them hooked on French!
Spend some time in Montreal this summer
earning 9 transfer credits! This 6-week program
is hosted by the Université de Québec à Montréal, and is not led by Mason faculty. It is the perfect program for someone looking to complete their full language requirement, but also offers intermediate and advanced level courses.
