this four-week, 6 credit
program in beautiful Paris. Participants will stay in an authentic and charming French dorm on the Boulevard Saint Michel in the Latin Quarter and attend classes at the Alliance Française (just across the Jardin de Luxembourg from the dorm). Visit Paris
freely on your métro pass and celebrate Bastille Day under the Eiffel Tower!
This program is open to beginner (no previous French language study required) to advanced undergraduate students, so bring your friends and get them hooked on French!

Spend some time in Montreal
this summer earning 9 transfer credits!
This 6-week program is hosted by the Université de Québec à Montréal, and is not led by Mason faculty. It is the perfect program for someone looking to complete their full language requirement, but also offers intermediate and advanced level courses.

5 weeks studying in Orvieto this
summer.
Orvieto is a medieval city in southwestern Umbria, Italy situated on a flat summit. The site of the city is among the most dramatic in Europe, rising above the almost-vertical faces of tuff cliffs that are completed by defensive walls built of the same stone
called Tufa.

Spain.

Study abroad in Morocco this
Summer, and experience an exciting blend historical influences and modern world currents while learning Arabic.
This 8-week program will allow students to gain 9 credits in Arabic at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco. Winters in Ifrane can be cold with significant snowfall, and summers are mild and pleasant. Oak and cedar forests, the springs, streams and
lakes around Ifrane have made it a very popular resort for all seasons.
Students must have completed the equivalent of ARAB 210 to participate.

Learn Chinese language
at Minzu University in China’s capital city Beijing this summer!
During the four-week language program, students will meet weekdays in the morning in classroom with their teachers from the host university for at least four hours to develop their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. There will also be some
university organized activities, such as excursion to the Great Wall and the Temple of Heaven, etc.

This course is designed for students who wish to study Japanese
language and culture in a full immersion environment. Program participants will stay in university dorms and attend Japanese language classes at Akita International University. Students will participate in cultural activities such as tea ceremony, calligraphy,
kimono-wearing, aikido, flower arranging, and furoshiki.
Earn 6 credits in Japanese 110, 210, 250, 330, or 331. One spot left!

Enroll in an international summer school in Berlin this
summer and earn 6 transfer
credits at one of Germany's most prestigious universities! This summer school is one half semi-intensive language study and one half subject course in either German or English. Take in one of Europe's greatest cities:
