Subject: MASONLIVE STUDENT Accounts Upgrade Begins 2/2/2014

On the evening of Sunday, February 2, 2014, Microsoft will begin the second part of its scheduled upgrade to the MASONLIVE student accounts (e-mail and calendar).

Preparing for the Upgrade
Students have been asked to verify their mobile device (e.g., iPhone, tablet, etc.) and desktop client (Outlook 2010, Outlook 2011, MacMail, etc.) set-up to ensure they can continue to access their account through these methods after the upgrade. Instructions are provided for them on the MASONLIVE website -
http://masonlive.gmu.edu/tutorial-mail-on-your-smartphone.html

The Upgrade Process and Duration
The process to upgrade all student accounts is expected to take up to two weeks to complete. Individual students may encounter periods of intermittent service disruptions during the time Microsoft upgrades their account; however, messages will continue to be delivered throughout the upgrade.

Please visit the MASONLIVE Overview/Upgrade Information Page –
