Dear Students,
A reminder that registration is open now for the spring 2014 semester. Please register early to avoid classes being canceled for low enrollment.

Some notes:
BIOL 508 003 "R&D in Biotech Companies" can be taken in spring 2014 as a substitute for the BIOL 695/BIOS 704 seminar. It will be offered Mon-Fri evening during the week of spring break, and requires a paper force add slip from my office. Two other BIOL 695 / BIOS 704 seminars currently have seats available. Due to the course structure instructors are not able to add additional students above the specified enrollment.

Two topics courses may be used towards elective credit, both listed as BIOL 506:
"Introduction to Aerobiology" for 2 credits and "Vaccines" for 3 credits. Aerobiology is also listed as BIOS 710 for PhD students. Contact Dr. van Hoek for permission to register.

BIOL 666 "Human Genetics Concepts for Health Care" is offered at the Fairfax campus, 3 credits, and can be used for elective credit.

We will have the course syllabi posted soon on http://ssb.gmu.edu/academics/syllabi.cfm

  regards,
Diane St. Germain
