Title- Genomics and Genetics for Patient Selection in Drug Development
The
talk will discuss the persistent imbalance in pharma between investment and approvals of new drugs. The role of biomarkers in adjusting this imbalance will then be presented with specific examples in oncology. Finally, a recently published case study will
be presented on detecting low frequency mutations in colorectal and non-small cell lung cancers and how these can be used to inform treatment decisions for patients.
