Hello, everyone.
Just a reminder that the Ph.D. colloquium will host its first outside speaker of the year on Monday 23 September.
Our guest will be Prof. Gregory Childs from George Washington University. The title of his talk is "Secrets Written in Black Blood: Making Private Torture a Public Thing (Bahia, Brazil, 1798)."
Colloquium meets between 5:30 and 7:00 in the Gold Room (downstairs in the JC). All are welcome. As usual, there will be cookies.
