SFC Energy is looking for a senior for part to full time internship for the remainder of summer and follow on work in the fall semester.
SFC Energy is the leader in mobile energy for leisure-time, industrial and military applications. One of Germany’s technology pioneers, SFC has been awarded numerous prizes for innovation. SFC works with leading companies in a number of different industries. In contrast to most other fuel-cell companies that are still in the developmental phase or are operating subsidized demonstration facilities, SFC has been successfully selling its fuel cells to military, industrial and retail customers for already more than six years. Duties would include:
- Lab testing prototype systems
- Supporting proposal efforts
- Supporting marketing requirements
- General office tasks
- Editing technical documents
Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering (or engineering with a good concept of electrical principles)
- US Citizen
- Within 1 year of graduating
- Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Excellent written and spoken English skills (German and French are a plus, but not required)
- Occasional manual labor including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Availability in mid-August through December, preferred into 2014 also
- Means of commuting to office in Rockville, MD on a daily basis

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a lab with dc power supplies, oscilloscopes and electronic loads, but also is able and excited to work closely with the business side and support the sales process.
