It’s Rana from NCBI. I was hoping that you might be able to help me with something.

We’re running one of our free NCBI Discovery Workshops in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if you happened to have access to a listserv or an Emailing list that you could send a message out to interested parties?  The message is appended below.

It’s free, just an easy trip up the Red Line, and a good excuse to visit the NIH campus…..

NCBI Discovery Workshops at the National Library of Medicine, Bethesda MD



On July 30th & 31st, the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) is presenting a free two-day hands on workshop covering practical aspects of using the molecular biology databases and tools available at the at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). The course is free but registration is required.

NOTE: Laptop Computer requirement - participants must provide their own network-ready laptop pre-configured, or configurable for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and have a standard Web browser installed. NCBI software (Cn3D) will be installed on the laptops during the course.
