We have been alerted to a scholarship-funded 3 -week opportunity in Turkey June 2-23, 2013.

This is a specially designed opportunity for Mason and NVCC students, under the auspices of  the sister city initiative between Turgut Ozal University, Fairfax County, and Keši÷ren Municipality.<http://www.myyisp.org/kecioren-municipality/>

The scholarship covers Summer school tuition, accommodations, meals, and culture guides.

Students will be responsible for the cost of visa (approximately $26) and the airfare (approximately $1200).

Students will be able to learn about post-Soviet changes in Eurasia through a Global Affairs course and to explore Turkish art through courses on Turkish art: http://www.myyisp.org/courses-2/turkish-art-courses/.

Turgut Ozal University provides 100% scholarship for Introduction to Global Affairs (POLS 319) and Kecioren Municipality provides 100% scholarship for Turkish Art Courses.
