Lilli Research Group is studying the professional development training of history PhDs as a follow up to our study of career outcomes, published in The Chronicle of Higher Education.  We are writing to you today to ask your assistance with our study.

The survey asks students a series of questions about the type of job market preparation provided by their department, career services, and graduate school.  This survey, which takes about 5 minutes to complete, is being sent out to 90 graduate programs across the United States.   All answers will be anonymized.   This is our own independent research initiative and has not been commissioned by any person, institution, or organization.
