Graduate Council:

We are emailing to ask for your help with disseminating the below message regarding the Graduate Student Travel Fund to your graduate programs and their students. The message will also be posted on the GSTF website. We do not want to miss any students who may have applied for funding. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Due to a security breach identified by the Mason IT security office, the Graduate Student Travel Fund (GSTF) site was taken off line for a few days to correct the problem, but during that process we have lost a few days of data. The application deadline for the new funding cycle was January 15^th and any of the following actions completed during January 12^th-14^th have been lost.

The affected actions are:

· Application submission

· Advisor Approvals

· Reimbursement Requests

All students who applied during this time are asked to check and see if their applications or reimbursement request are appearing on the GSTF website. If not, we will extend the deadline for those students to re-submit their application by Friday, January 25^th. Advisors may have up to five days after student submissions to approve/deny applications. We also ask that students send us a confirmation email at [log in to unmask] once they have reapplied.

We apologize for the inconvenience this causes. Should you have any questions, please contact GSTF at [log in to unmask] and we will respond as soon as possible.
