The session will cover well-known opportunities such as Fulbright, Boren Fellowships, and Critical Languages Scholarships, as well as awards for overseas dissertation research (including Fulbright-Hays, SSRC IDRF, IREX IARO, and American Councils) and international professional development fellowships (including Bosch, Alfa, EMDAP, and more.) We will also discuss strategies for finding smaller, targeted awards to support short-term travel or language study.
