The Ph.D. colloquium will host its final guest speaker for the 2011-12 academic year on Monday 2 April at 5:30 p.m. Prof. Paul Miller of McDaniel College (Md.) and University of Birmingham (UK) will speak on "Reckoning with the Great War: Remembering the Sarajevo Assassination."

Paul Miller is the author of From Revolutionaries to Citizens: Antimilitarism in France, 1870�1914 (Duke UP, 2002). His current projects concern the history and memory of the assassination of the Archduke Ferdinand in Sarajevo in 1914.

Colloquium meets between 5:30 and 7 in the Gold Room of the Johnson Center. All are welcome.
