Global Scholars Interest Meeting
This Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the JC room B, join other study abroad alumni to mix and mingle and learn more about what the brand new student organization, "Global Scholars" has to offer you! They will be collecting contact information, discussing ideas for the organization, and just getting to know you. The facebook event page is here: 

Study Abroad Fair
This Thursday, February 9, 2012 in George's on the 3rd floor of the Center the Center for Global Education will sponsor George Mason's first-ever Study Abroad Fair. As alumni of recent CGE programs, we hope you will share your stories with interested students because as you know, nothing is more informative than learning more about study abroad from your peers. If each of you invite just one friend to attend, the event will be a smashing success! Presidential Reception for International Students
You are invited to celebrate international education with President Alan Merten on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 3:30 p.m., in Dewberry Hall.  With Dr. Merten's retirement effective June 30, 2012, the February 13 international celebration will be his last as president of Mason. Arrival is encouraged by 3:15 p.m. for check-in and to pick up your nametag. Dr. and Mrs. Merten will greet each student as they enter Dewberry Hall.  Refreshments will be served, and you will have the opportunity to visit informally with President and Mrs. Merten and other administrators.
