Changing the world! From an adenovirus perspective at the confluence of genomics/bioinformatics and information technology.
Don Seto (GMU)
Genomics, bioinformatics and information technology provide unprecedented tools and observations that result in a tsunami of high resolution data that lead to insights, observations, opportunities and possibilities for understanding and solving global health issues. These seemingly 'simple' and 'obvious' observations provide paradigm shifts that may not be readily embraced by a few in the research community, but should be! The biology and molecular evolution of adenoviruses provide a model for demonstrating the importance of these applications and their benefits.
