The Center for Global Education (CGE) staff wishes you and your loved ones a warm Thanksgiving holiday.

As you enjoy some downtime away from your home campus, please remember three things regarding opportunities available through CGE:

1) Browse our summer 2012 programs. Remember to discuss your options with your folks, especially you out-of-state students since you can literally save thousands of dollars by studying abroad. Check out this cost comparison [DOCX] made by a Mason mom from Maryland!

2) Register online for CGE's spring break 2012 program to Berlin and Munich by December 1st. Ideal for those interested in WWII and European history, the 8-day program is open to the general public and includes a potential visit to the Hofbrauhaus, whose original brewer was responsible for the world's first food legislation, the Reinheitsgebot! 3) Save the dates [PDF] for spring 2012 semester CGE information sessions and events, including the center's first-ever Study Abroad Fair in George's on February 9, 2012.

Have a nice long weekend everyone, travel safely and don't eat too much turkey!

Sincerely,
Kevin Stoy
