Greetings Fellow ABFAS & Mason Colleagues,

For those of you who may not be aware, our colleague Ms. Tya M. El (Sponsored Programs) is an advisory board member for First Book of Northern Virginia.  To promote its reading/literacy initiatives, the organization raises money to purchase books to distribute to low-income Students in Northern Virginia.  During Veteran's Day weekend, First Book is hosting a "Beer Tasting and Benefits" event (see the attached flyer).

Tickets are $20 each; including a $10 donation to First Book, a tour of the brewery, a souvenir tasting glass, and a full tasting of all of their beers on tap. The event will take place at Port City Brewer, located in Old Town Alexandria.   If you are interested, please contact Tya to purchase a ticket in advance; feel free to share it with your friends and family.
