Dear PhD Students in History,
On Wednesday, May 11 at 12:30, the Roy Rosenzweig Center for
History
and New Media will host a brown bag presentation and discussion
on the
subject of “New Techniques with Cascading Style
Sheets.” Cascading
Style Sheets (CSS) is a style language that allows designers to
control the presentation of web pages. Jeremy Boggs, Associate
Director for Research at the Center, will start the discussion
with a
brief introduction to CSS, then dive into new techniques and
methods
for implementing CSS: font embedding, responsive design with
media
queries, and new methods in CSS3.
Please join us at the Center, 4th flr., Research 1 building, rm.
470.
Thank you!
