PHD BIOSCIENCES FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION

AY-2011/2012

The School of Systems Biology is pleased to offer graduate students in the Biosciences Ph.D. program the opportunity to apply for one-time supplemental fellowship award funding for the Academic Year (AY) 2011-2012.           

Fellowships will be awarded on a competitive basis to recognize merit in graduate school education and research. The award is given as a tuition waiver and is posted to the student’s account after the Fall and Spring semester drop dates.

This award is intended to augment current stipend funding levels based on average University approved standards for GRA/GTA awards funded by the University.  As such, students presently supported by Presidential Awards or extramural grants are ineligible for these supplemental funding awards.

All other students presently supported by GRA/GTA positions as funded by the University are eligible to apply.   The awards will be administered as a supplement over and above the University approved GRA/GTA funding levels.

 
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION SUBMISSION (ATTACHED TO THIS EMAIL) IS APRIL 15, 2011.
