Many of you know Jenny Reeder, one of the students in the Ph.D. program. On Saturday Jenny was admitted to the hospital and has since been diagnosed with acute lymphatic leukemia. I gather that she began chemotherapy treatments today. 

Please offer whatever encouragement you can.  Her e-mail address is [log in to unmask]. I've also heard that she can have visitors--though no food or fresh flowers--but you should probably email her before trying to see her.
