Title: "Molecular Examination of the Evolution and Serotypes of Human Adenoviruses"

A copy of the dissertation is on reserve in the Johnson Center Library, Fairfax campus.  The doctoral project will not be read at the meeting, but should be read in advance.

All members of the George Mason University community are invited to attend.

Human adenoviruses (HAdVs) are important human pathogens. Recent advances in genome sequencing and sequence analysis have made it possible to study the evolution of these viruses in new and interesting ways. These technologies have been used to study recombinant and non-recombinant HAdVs. Data from studies of these genomes have also revealed possibilities for improving the current methods for classifying HAdVs.
