Have you heard that Mason's Alumni Weekend is scheduled for October 1-3, 2010? As a part of this year's activities, the Mason Black Alumni Chapter will be sponsoring an
Alumni Weekend Step Off on Saturday, October 2 at 6pm (Doors open at 5:30pm) in George Mason University's Harris Theatre. Get ready for a riveting, homecoming demonstration
of "old school" and "new school" moves at the Alumni Weekend Step Off. The theme is "Back to Basics" - minimal technology, maximum stepping and teachable moments.
Hosted by Scott Terry-Cabbler, member of Omega Psi Phi and C. Lynn Dorsey, member of Delta Sigma Theta, the Alumni Weekend Step Off will feature Mason black alumni and
students representing the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Fraternities and Sororities. Performers will span classes of the 1980's to present day. The friendly competition
will award a trophy to the first place winners for the fraternities and sororities...and of course the winners will take home the Green & Gold PRIDE!

Get tickets early! The Step Off "Retro" After Party is at Icons in Fairfax from 9pm - Until. Access the Party with your "Step Off" Ticket/Wristband. The best of
old school hip hop & soul hosted by the Black Alumni Chapter. The BAC will Get It In on 10-2-10.
This event will benefit the Black Scholars Endowment whose purpose is to provide scholarships for undergraduate students from an underrepresented student population with
first preference to Black/African Heritage students. Join us for the experience or contribute directly to the Black Scholars Endowment at
