Greetings, Ph.D. students.
I am very much looking forward to directing your program, a job I'll begin in August. Steve will be a hard act to follow but, rest assured, he'll be around to advise me (and you) as needed after I take over.
Some of you I already know, and others I hope to meet in August--at orientation, the Ph.D. colloquium, advising, or some other venue. In the meantime, enjoy your summer.
