Hello Graduate Students,
I'm pleased to announce that the Inaugural lecture in the GAPSA Lecture Series will be by Provost Peter Stearns entitled "Challenges in Higher Education Today". The goal of the series is to provide useful lectures on a broad range of topics that apply to disciplines across the university. The lecture will be on Monday, March 1st at 6pm in the Edwin Meese Conference Room in Mason Hall. Light refreshments will be provided before the lecture beginning at 5:45pm. Provost Stearns lecture will be approximately 45mins long followed by a brief Q&A period. Following the lecture, GAPSA will be hosting a Happy Hour at The Rathskeller. Hope to see you all there.
If you have suggestions for future speakers or would like to be a part of planning future events/lectures, please email [log in to unmask].
Best,
David Arditi
President of GAPSA
