The Japan Exchange & Teaching (JET) Program
is looking for people in all majors who are interested in
international exchange, living and working abroad,
working with students, and learning about Japan. The
JET Program is the largest program for English
instructors in Japan sponsored by the Japanese
government. Each year they send more than 1000
American young professionals to teach English in the
Japanese public schools. This past summer, they sent
approximately 100 new participants from the DC, Mary-
land
, and Virginia area, to join a total of nearly 5,000
participants throughout Japan.
