Begin or continue studying Italian abroad in Sicily for 2 weeks this winter break!

According to faculty director Dr. Kristina Olson, "study abroad in Sicily is crucial for
bringing students to the native cities of those immigrants that brought Italian culture
to our continent. Study abroad in Sicily means linking Italian-American culture to its
origins across the Atlantic. And it responds to those people who say that Sicily is
not Italy: Italy is not one 'pure' culture, it is extremely diverse across its regions,
linguistically and culturally."

There is still sufficient time left to apply online although you must act soon, as
the application deadline is this Friday, October 9, 2009.
