Alejandro, what Keith means is that on the CVS repository there is a special directory called "contrib" which contains external contributed packages which are not part of ECJ proper.  The GEP module is one of them.  If you have access to CVS you can download the most recent GEP sources; otherwise contact Bob Orchard for a recent snapshot.

The problem is that when i download the ECJ package ( http://www.cs.gmu.edu/~eclab/projects/ecj/ecj.tar.gz or http://www.cs.gmu.edu/~eclab/projects/ecj/ecj.zip ) , i don't have the contrib directory inside..

Maybe am i downloading the incorrect version?

The GEP package is in the contrib directory.  So Make sure that <ECJ
   home>/contrib/gep is in your classpath.
